Mole and Rat make the food. Rat Mole opened the door. Ten young field mice stood in a line. They sing carol. The choir leader came over to Rat the mouse nodded. Politely Rat said"Great!"said Rat."Go boy us some good food."The rest of the mice sat down by the fire. Mole was opening his empty cup boards suddenly the door is open. A big basket of food stumbled in Then, Mole saw the choir leader under it soon supper was ready. Mole took h is seat at the head of the table. The mice sat on both sides Rat sat at the other end. Rat said "Let's eat"Everyone around the table started to eat Mole gave his visitors a warm good-bye. As They went out the door. They sang. Rat and Mole watched them leave The mice's lantern light faded behind the hill. The long winter ended The bright sun made the riverbank green. They heard a knock at Rat's door Mole ran to the door and opened it Mr. Badger Rat dropped his _k Badger walked in to the room. Th e three friends rushed out the door. Together they set out _ Toad Hall Badger, Rat and Mole arrived at Toad Hall be_e he could the door hurst open "Come him inside"Rat and Mole grabbed toad They dragged Toad back in to his house. They pulled at his cap and coat Toad kicked angrily. They locked him in his bed room Toad lie sick Rat ran down stairs and out the door. He opened a drawer to get some mony. He stuffed his pockets with bills Toad know ted His sheets to make a rope He lowered him self out the _ Toad stove car But Toad go dungeon Toad threw him self on the floor of the jail. The room was dark creepy bugs crawled across the stones. The next morning Toad was hungry. The jailer's daughter knocked "Come in" said Toad. She put the tray in front of him He grabbed the toast and ate. He sat back and drank his tea"Toad," "do you want to get out of here. Toad repay the train engineer. Toad ride the train "It's chasing us coming fast!" Toad jumped bounced and rolled down a hill. The dusty stranger bowed to Rat. "Will you have lunch with me?"said the Rat "A wonderful idea!"said sea Rat.
